Logos

PNG files on the paper background they were drawn on. Pick by where the logo will live.

Colors

Red is the only accent. The contrast ratios are measured, and they are why red stays out of small text.

Regular for body, semibold for emphasis.

Small uppercase labels and timecode eyebrows only.

Do and don't

Most of these exist so the mark stays recognizable when other people use it.

Do

  • Use the files exactly as supplied, at their original proportions.
  • Keep clear space around the logo equal to the red dot's diameter.
  • Use the wordmark on light backgrounds and the reversed B. mark on dark ones or photos.
  • Use red as the only accent: the dot, one primary button, one highlighted word.
  • Set text that sits on red in ink.
  • Write headlines in sentence case.
  • Write the name as BlackUGC, one word, in running text.

Don't

  • Retype, recolor, stretch, rotate, outline or add shadows and glows to the logo.
  • Put the wordmark on a busy photo or a mid-tone background.
  • Add gold or any second accent color.
  • Set text on red in white.
  • Set headlines in all caps.
  • Make or imitate a BlackUGC Certified badge. The credential is not live.
  • Use red for small body text. Use the darker red for text instead.
Don't stretch it
Don't recolor it
Don't put it on a busy photo
Don't crowd its clear space
