What should you charge?

Brands will rarely tell you what a fair number looks like. This does the math, then lets you compare it with what other creators actually landed.

This is your floor, not their opening offer.

How to read this

  • Where the numbers come from. The base rates and multipliers are BlackUGC's working model, built from public 2026 UGC pricing guides. It is a starting point, not a quote.
  • Read the result with this in mind. Public guides put true beginner per-video rates between $50 and $150 (Conbersa, 2026). This calculator starts higher than that for new creators. Treat the output as a number to open with, not a promise that a brand will pay it.
  • Why a floor. The 2021 MSL and Influencer League study found Black influencers earned about 35% less than white influencers (NBC News). Quoting your number first, with usage rights priced separately, is one way to avoid anchoring low.
  • Log what you landed. The optional form below your rate slip stores the deal details and the amount you were paid, nothing that identifies you. That is the seed of a real rate index.
